Sunshine, lollipops and rainbows everything that’s wonderful is what I feel a-when I’m wearing this tank top…hehe well that is how I feel when I wear this tank top, and I hope you feel wonderful and bust out into song when you wear it too! There is lots to love with this sunshine seeking tank top with it’s super chic chunky geo lace edge and unique braided straps that show off your beautiful back! Braiding these straps will bring back memories of Summer Camp and friendship bracelets and all that is wonderful about Summer. An option is also included for a trendy t-strap back, as well as a cropped or regular length fitted tank to give you lots of options to suite your unique preferences. Enjoy!
Tank top is knit in one piece in the round from the bottom up, and is finished with a single crochet edging along the top (link to a tutorial is included in the pattern!)
The straps are crocheted using a chain stitch (link to tutorial included!), and then braided. Lots of photos are included to show how to make the straps, including a tutorial for how to make a 6-strand braid. A sewing machine is suggested for the strappy back version, and a t-strap option is also included which does not require a sewing machine.
The lace edge pattern is given written and as a chart. Instructions are included for a cropped tank with no shaping, and a regular length tank with shaping. Alternatively you could make the cropped version longer.
