Indulge in your love for all things girly and that part of your heart that will always stay young, with these adorable lace trim socks! These super sweet knitted leg treats feature a seed stitch heart cable pattern running up the back of your leg and a faux toe seam for ultimate charm. They are finished off with a knitted lace placket with buttons, which will look super cute peeking out of your boots! They come in every length from ankle, to knee high, to over the knee to suit your sock length preferences, in all sizes from girls to adult. Knit with Knit Picks Hawthorne Sport in vibrant variegated shades, all of your girly desires will be met with these gorgeous socks! Enjoy!
A photo tutorial is included of how to knit the “faux” lace placket. There are no button holes, the buttons are simply sewn on! In case you are new to socks, I made a video tutorial for you showing you all of the techniques used to knit toe up socks including how to cast on for the toe, work the increases for the toe, and knit the short row heel here 🙂
The (optional) heart and seed stitch cable pattern are both written and charted for your pattern reading preference. I give instructions for using a circular needle for the magic loop method with an option to use double pointed needles, though it will be easiest to knit the lace edging with a circular needle.
