I love your patterns. I would like to make the underwear with “Awesome” on the back but I want to change the word awesome to something else. Is there a way to design my own lettering pattern?

Hi Carol! Absolutely! People have definitely done that before. You will just need some graph paper to plot it out. That actually just gave me an idea – I will work on a chart that you can color in as part of the pattern to design your own graphic or word. I’m not sure when exactly I will get that up but I will put it on my to-do list! šŸ™‚

Hi! I’ve been working on some of the sock patterns and was wondering if you have a video for color changes? When I did mine it didn’t stay in the same line it spiraled and now I’m afraid my heel edges won’t match my toe edges šŸ™

or do you have a video on the owl sock and how to transition into the heel? Sorry I’m new to knitting. I mostly crochet so I’m still learning the differences šŸ™‚

Hi Chelsea, did you read the section at the end about changing colors? For the heel you would have changed stripe colors for a couple rounds then went directly into the heel without changing colors. Then the heel is worked back and forth across half of the stitches. When you rejoin to heel to work the sock in the round again, you are still knitting with the heel color for a couple rnds before changing colors, and it should be on the same side of the sock as you were switching colors with before. Please e-mail me if you have any further questions! Thanks, Lauren

Hi Chelsea! So sorry for the late reply, I check my e-mail much more often: girlyknits@gmail.com. I’m not sure what you mean by spiraling – perhaps if you e-mail me a picture I can be of more help?! Thanks! Lauren

I stumbled onto your patterns on ravelry, I love them! Im 26 knit the kids but have never really found anything that works for me until ive came across your patterns thier exactly everything I would wear! I wish there were more of a niche for my age group of “fashionable”, modern knits. Thanks so much

Hi! I love all of your machine knit patterns and tutorials. I discovered machine knitting a few years ago but it is hard to find modern patterns so Iā€™m loving yours. Please keep them coming! Do you plan on offering a machine knit version of all of your hand knit patterns?

Hey Angela! So happy to hear that! Right now all of my new patterns have been for both machine knitting and hand knitting.
I’ve thought about converting some of my older patterns to the machine – let me know if there are any specifically that you would be interested in!
